Metal Bracelet with Tibetan Mantra inscription “Om Mani Padme Hum”
14cm running length approx
The bracelet is inscribed with the Mantra Om Mani Padme Hum in ancient Ranjana script. A common translation of the Mantra is; "Behold! The jewel in the lotus!”, where the lotus is a metaphor for wisdom.
Buddhists believe that reciting, reading or spinning the Mantra on a prayer wheel will attract the compassionate attention of the Bodhisattva Chenrezig (Avalokiteshvara).
