Dragons, Tortoises, Phoenixes and Tigers are the four celestial guardians of the yin and yang abode. The symbols feature prominently in the practice of Feng Shui. Of the four, the dragon is the most prominent, significant and auspicious of the symbols and having the dragon in the home always attracts good yang energy.
