The mug comes with an infuser and lid. You place your loose tea leaves into the infuser which fits neatly onto the top of the mug. The lid keeps your tea warm whiles you wait for the tea to brew. When your tea has reached the required strength then simply take the lid of, turn the lid upside down and lift the infuser out of the mug and rest it onto the lid.
